Jenin: Israeli colonists on Wednesday began establishing a new settlement outpost on lands belonging to the town of Kafr Ra'i, southwest of Jenin.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Kafr Ra'i Mayor Louay Al-Sheikh reported that colonists bulldozed agricultural lands owned by the Abu Al-Shawarib family in the Al-Qareen area north of the town and erected a tent at the site.
He noted that the outpost is located near the Dotan settlement, which was built on lands of Ya'bad and Arraba. He warned that the establishment of the outpost poses a serious threat as it paves the way for the seizure of hundreds of dunums of Palestinian land, which residents have been denied access to for years.
