Israeli Strike Results in Casualties in Northern Gaza Strip

Gaza city: An Israeli strike on Wednesday killed three civilians in the northern Gaza Strip, according to local sources. They reported that an Israeli combat drone struck a group of people near al-Helou Fuel Station, claiming the lives of three.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israel has waged a military onslaught on the Strip since 7 October 2023, resulting in the death of 73,069 Palestinians, mostly women and children, and injuring 173,514 others. The conflict has led to the destruction of 90% of the Strip's infrastructure, with the cost of Gaza reconstruction estimated at $70 billion.

Since the Gaza ceasefire agreement went into effect on October 11, 2025, Israel has killed 1,053 Palestinians and injured 3,406 others. During the same period, the bodies of 786 slain Palestinians have been recovered.

In the last 24 hours, the bodies of eight slain Palestinians along with 26 casualties were admitted to Gaza hospitals. Additionally, at least 10,000 people remain unaccounted for, presumed dead under the rubble of their homes throughout the Strip.

The Israeli aggression has also led to the forceful displacement of nearly two million people from across the Gaza Strip, with the majority forced into the densely crowded southern city of Rafah near the border with Egypt, marking Palestine's largest mass exodus since the 1948 Nakba.
