Journalist and Another Palestinian Injured in Israeli Forces Assault in Northern Jordan Valley

Northern jordan valley: Two Palestinian men, including a journalist, sustained bruises on Thursday after being assaulted by Israeli forces in the northern Jordan Valley, northeast of the occupied West Bank.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society reported that its crews received two injured Palestinians from Israeli forces in the Ras al-Ahmar area. One of the injured was identified as journalist Moath Ghannam. Both individuals were subsequently transferred to a hospital for treatment.

Local sources indicated that Israeli forces had earlier detained the two men while they were covering ongoing land-leveling operations being carried out by Israeli occupation authorities in the area.

Earlier in the day, Israeli colonists, under the protection of Israeli forces, assaulted and detained a number of solidarity activists, journalists, and local residents in Ras al-Ahmar.

These incidents have increased the total number of injuries reported in the area on Thursday to three, including journalist Ghannam.
