Caracas: President Mahmoud Abbas conveyed on Thursday sincere condolences to his Venezuelan counterpart Delcy Rodrguez over the victims of the devastating earthquakes. During a phone call with his counterpart Rodrguez, President Abbas expressed his heartfelt condolences and sympathy over the victims of the two earthquakes that struck the capital, Caracas, that have killed at least 164 people and injured almost 1,000 others.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, President Abbas affirmed the solidarity of the State of Palestine and its people with friendly Venezuela in this ordeal, expressing his heartfelt sympathy and condolences to the families of the victims and the injured, as well as to the Venezuelan people.
He also expressed his wishes for the speedy recovery of the injured and the safety of those missing, and concluded by wishing the brotherly Venezuelan people safety and strength, expressing hope that Venezuela would soon regain its well-being, security, and stability.
