Israeli Airstrikes in Southern Lebanon Result in Civilian Casualties

Beirut: Four civilians were killed and others injured on Sunday as Israeli airstrikes targeted towns in southern Lebanon, according to the Lebanese National News Agency.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, an Israeli airstrike hit a house in the town of Tura, leading to the death of a woman and injuring two other individuals. In the district of Nabatieh, the death toll from a strike on the town of Sir al-Gharbiyeh increased to nine, including a child and women, following an attack by Israeli air forces on Saturday.

The airstrikes continued in the town of Kafra, aligning with a wider escalation of attacks throughout Nabatieh and nearby areas, resulting in the deaths of three additional people, including a Syrian national. Additionally, the Israeli air force conducted strikes on the towns of Jeish, Yohmor Al-Shuqayf, Qaaqaiyat Al-Jisr, and Zawtar Al-Sharqiya.
