Israeli Colonists Attack Vehicles East of Ramallah

Ramallah: Israeli colonists on Monday evening attacked Palestinian-licensed vehicles, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah. The incident involved colonists hurling stones at Palestinian-registered vehicles traveling along the road between the Deir Dibwan and Rammun towns, although no casualties were reported.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the attack is part of a broader pattern of colonists' violence against Palestinians and their property, a common occurrence in the West Bank. Earlier on the same day, colonists established a new colonial outpost on privately-owned Palestinian land in the Jisr al-Khalleh locality in the eastern part of Rammun.

The agency highlights that colonist violence, which includes property and mosque arsons, stone-throwing, uprooting of crops and olive trees, and attacks on vulnerable homes, is rarely prosecuted by Israeli authorities. This violence occurs amidst the presence of approximately 1 million Israeli colonists living in colonies in the West Bank and East Jerusalem, a situation that violates international law.
