Israeli Forces Erect Military Checkpoint West Of Bethlehem

Bethlehem: Israeli occupation forces erected a military checkpoint west of Bethlehem on Monday. Local sources reported that the checkpoint was set up at the Shuli area on the main road connecting the towns of Battir and Nahalin, and the villages of Husan and Wadi Fukin.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation forces stopped and searched vehicles and checked the IDs of Palestinian citizens, leading to a traffic jam in the area. The checkpoint's establishment disrupted the daily commute for many locals, causing significant delays and raising concerns among residents about increased military presence in the region.
