Presidential Advisor for Religious Affairs Condemns Detention of Former Awqaf Minister by Israeli Forces

Ramallah: Presidential Advisor for Religious Affairs and Islamic Relations and Chief Justice of Palestine, Mahmoud Al-Habbash, condemned the arbitrary detention of the former Awqaf Minister by Israeli forces. In a statement, Al-Habbash affirmed that this detention constitutes a grave violation of international laws and conventions. He emphasized that such practices will not deter the Palestinian people and their institutions from performing their religious and national duties.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Al-Habbash stressed that these actions will reinforce the Palestinian commitment to their rights and constants. He highlighted that the resolve to continue their mission in defending holy sites and serving the community will be strengthened in the face of such aggressive practices.
