Cebu: Low-cost carrier AirAsia Philippines announced on Wednesday the launch of direct flights between Cebu and Bangkok beginning June 11. The daily flight will depart Cebu at 4:05 a.m. and arrive at the Don Mueang International Airport at 7:05 a.m. From Bangkok, the flight will depart at 7:35 a.m. and arrive in Cebu at 12:30 p.m.
According to Philippines News Agency, the new route expands connectivity via the Visayas, and connects passengers to routes via Don Mueang. Via Cebu, AirAsia also flies to Macau, Kuala Lumpur, Caticlan, and Davao. The carrier said launching a new route would strengthen inbound travel in Central Visayas.
