Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces fired on Saturday tear gas canisters at Palestinians near the Atara checkpoint north of Ramallah. Local sources said that Israeli troops targeted several Palestinians attempting to cross the checkpoint, causing multiple suffocation cases among them due to inhaling the tear gas. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, this incident occurs amidst continued military restrictions at most entrances and exits to West Bank governorates.
