Masafer yatta: A Palestinian woman was injured on Thursday after being assaulted by Israeli colonists in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, while Israeli forces detained a young man from the same area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, activist Osama Makhameh reported that a group of armed colonists attacked residents in Khirbet al-Tibyan in Masafer Yatta. The colonists released their livestock into the residents' fields and around their homes, leading to further confrontations.
The colonists reportedly assaulted the residents, leaving a woman from the Abu Ubaid family with bruises. She received on-site medical treatment before Israeli forces stormed the area and detained the young man, Luay Abu Obeid.
