Mustafa Meets Luxembourg Premier at World Economic Forum in Davos

Davos: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa met with Luxembourg Prime Minister Luc Frieden on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum in Davos, accompanied by Palestine's ambassador to Switzerland and the United Nations in Geneva, Ibrahim Khraishi.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency, Mustafa extended his gratitude to Luxembourg for its steadfast support and its recognition of the State of Palestine during the New York Conference on the Two-state Solution. He provided Frieden with an update on the latest developments in the Palestinian territory, highlighting ongoing Israeli violations against the Palestinian people, persistent aggression in the Gaza Strip despite a ceasefire, and efforts to expand settlements, annex the West Bank, and destabilize the Palestinian economy.

Frieden expressed regret over the challenges faced by the Palestinian people due to continued Israeli aggression in Gaza and the West Bank. He reiterated Luxembourg's commitment to supporting peace efforts and the establishment of an independent and sovereign Palestinian state and affirmed his country's willingness to aid in reconstruction efforts.
