Jerusalem: Israeli forces raided the town of Silwan, south of the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound, on Wednesday, setting up a flying military checkpoint. The Jerusalem Governorate said that Israeli troops installed a checkpoint at the Al-Jisr junction in Silwan, where they stopped Palestinians and checked their identification cards, obstructing traffic and restricting the movement of residents.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency, the governorate added that Israeli forces also detained three Palestinian workers near the Sheikh Jarrah neighborhood, north of occupied Jerusalem.
