Qalqilya: Israeli occupation forces impeded the movement of Palestinian citizens and traffic on Sunday east of Qalqilya, in the occupied West Bank. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli troops set up a military checkpoint at the entrance to the village of Nabi Elias, east of the city, where they stopped vehicles and checked passengers' identity cards.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the checkpoint caused significant delays and disrupted citizens' access to their workplaces. The presence of the military checkpoint led to considerable wait times for those attempting to pass through, impacting daily routines and schedules.
