Al-dhahiriya: Israeli occupation forces on Sunday detained a journalist and caused a number of Palestinians to suffer from suffocation while suppressing a peaceful protest denouncing colonial expansion in the town of al-Dhahiriya, south of Hebron.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli forces detained journalist Yasser Jaradat while he was covering the protest. Forces fired tear gas at participants, leading to several cases of suffocation among the demonstrators.
