Al-bireh: Five Palestinian citizens, including three children, were injured on Thursday evening after Israeli occupation forces stormed the city of Al-Bireh.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, local sources reported that Israeli forces raided Al-Quds Street in Al-Bireh and opened fire at a vehicle near the Orabi Junction, though no injuries were reported from the gunfire. In addition, the forces fired tear gas canisters, resulting in the suffocation of two young men, and detained and assaulted three children.
The Palestinian Red Crescent Society confirmed that its crews treated two cases of suffocation due to tear gas inhalation at the scene. Furthermore, three children who were injured after being severely beaten by the Israeli forces were transferred to a hospital for medical treatment.
