Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces closed the Atara military checkpoint north of Ramallah on Wednesday evening. WAFA correspondent reported that the occupation forces blocked the checkpoint, preventing Palestinian residents' vehicles from entering or exiting, causing a traffic jam and disrupting citizens' movement.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, a report issued by the Colonization and Wall Resistance Commission revealed that the number of military checkpoints and gates in the Palestinian Territory has reached 916. This figure includes 243 gates installed since October 7, 2023.
