Salfit: Israeli occupation bulldozers razed tens of dunums of land north of the village of Yasuf, in the central West Bank province of Salfit, on Sunday morning, according to local sources.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Wael Abu Madi, head of the Yasuf village council, stated that the bulldozing targeted land planted with olive trees belonging to several local farmers. He highlighted that the action aims at seizing Palestinian land, depriving residents of their livelihoods, and imposing a new colonial reality on the area.
Abu Madi further mentioned that the bulldozing was conducted under the direct protection of Israeli forces, with the intent to expand settlement control in the region. He urged human rights organizations and international bodies to urgently intervene to halt the ongoing violations against Palestinian land and people.
