Five Family Members Injured in Colonists’ Attack Near Jericho; Israeli Forces Raid City Center

Jericho: Five members of a family, including a father, mother, and three daughters, were injured in an attack by colonists in the al-Auja area near Jericho. The incident occurred shortly after midnight, and the Palestinian Red Crescent Society was on the scene to provide first aid to the injured family members before they were transported to a hospital for further treatment.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the conditions of the injured family members were described as varying. This attack is part of a series of escalating assaults by colonists against Palestinian citizens and their property in the Jordan Valley, which has led to increasing calls for international protection for civilians.

In a related development, Israeli forces conducted a raid on Amman Street in the center of Jericho at dawn. Eyewitnesses reported that six Israeli military vehicles entered the city from the "Yellow Gate" checkpoint to the east, proceeding towards Amman Street. During the raid, Israeli forces reportedly fired stun grenades, although no confrontations were noted.
