Ramallah: Israeli colonists on Monday evening torched olive trees in Burqa village, east of the occupied West Bank city of Ramallah, according to local sources. They reported that colonists descended upon the al-Hadab area in Western Burqa and set several olive trees on fire.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, despite the rain, the olive trees caught fire, suggesting that the arsonists used highly inflammable materials. There was a risk that the fire could have spread to nearby houses.
The statistics from the Wall and Colonization Resistance Commission reveal that Israeli occupation forces and colonists committed 2,144 attacks against Palestinian civilians and their properties in November 2025. Of these, the occupation forces were responsible for 1,523 attacks, while colonists committed 621.
The distribution of these attacks included 360 in the Ramallah and al-Bireh governorate, 348 in the Hebron governorate, 342 in the Bethlehem governorate, and 334 in the Nablus governorate.
