Ramallah: Prime Minister Mohammad Mustafa convened a pivotal coordination meeting with international representatives to discuss the ongoing efforts in early relief and restoration of basic services in the Gaza Strip. The meeting took place at his office and included ambassadors and representatives from the United Kingdom, the Netherlands, Norway, Canada, the European Union, and the Office of the Quartet.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Prime Minister Mustafa emphasized the necessity for any future political and legal frameworks to ensure full Palestinian sovereignty, unity of law and authority, and direct linkage to the State of Palestine and its Government. He stressed that security arrangements in Gaza should be solely Palestinian, guided by needs and development plans, with backing from the International Stabilization Force and partners, while rejecting separate arrangements between the West Bank and Gaza.
The Prime Minister also highlighted the positive outcomes from the recent Palestine Donor Group (PDG) meeting in Brussels, where international partners showed a clear understanding of the financial challenges and the urgent need for solutions.
