Tubas: Israeli occupation forces issued military orders last night to seize privately owned and state lands in the Tubas region and the Jordan Valley in the north of the occupied West Bank, according to local sources. According to Palestine news and Information Agency - WAFA, Muataz Bisharat, an official in charge of the settlement file in the Tubas Governorate, stated that the orders targeted registered private lands and state lands with the aim of constructing a military road. This road is intended to link the Ein Shibli area to the Tayasir checkpoint, with the planned road expected to exceed 40 kilometers in length. In addition, Israeli forces have continued bulldozing operations at the eastern entrance of the Ein Shibli village. This development is aimed at relocating the Hamra military checkpoint on the road connecting Nablus, Tubas, and Jericho, moving it closer to the village. The Hamra checkpoint holds strategic importance as it is situated at a key road junction linking West Bank cities with the c entral, southern, and northern Jordan Valley. It serves as a main passageway for thousands of Palestinians traveling daily to their workplaces in the Jordan Valley.
