Israeli Colonists Expand Fencing of Seized Palestinian Farmlands in Northern Jordan Valley

Gaza: Israeli colonists are continuing to fence off more Palestinian agricultural lands in the northern Jordan Valley, according to a local activist. The head of the al-Maleh village council, Mahdi Daraghmeh, reported that colonists are extending their fencing operations, beginning from the Tayasir military checkpoint and moving towards the al-Burj area.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, in recent weeks, colonists have seized control and fenced off thousands of dunams of grazing and agricultural land in the areas of al-Farsiya, Umm al-Jamal, and Samra. These actions have escalated tensions in the region, as attacks by colonists against Palestinians and their property have been increasing in various areas of the northern Jordan Valley in recent months.
