Death Toll in Gaza Rises to 69,513 as Rescue Teams Struggle to Reach Victims

Gaza: Medical sources in Gaza announced on Wednesday that the death toll in the territory has climbed to 69,513, most of them children and women, since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023. Local health authorities noted that the number of wounded has reached 170,745 over the course of the assault. Many victims remain buried under collapsed buildings as ambulances and civil defense crews struggle to reach them amid ongoing dangers and limited resources.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, hospitals in Gaza received seven bodies over the past 48 hours, including two victims who were recovered from beneath the rubble, in addition to 33 injured people. Since the ceasefire agreement came into effect on October 11, at least 280 Palestinians have been killed and 672 others wounded, while 571 bodies have been recovered during this period.
