Israeli Airstrikes Target Gaza City and Khan Younis Amid Ceasefire Breach

Gaza city: Israeli warplanes launched airstrikes on Gaza City and Khan Younis early Saturday morning, marking another breach of the ceasefire.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli warplanes targeted the eastern areas of Gaza City and the eastern areas of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza Strip. No casualties have been reported following the strikes. The airstrikes coincided with Israeli artillery shelling east of Khan Younis.

In addition to the aerial attacks, the Israeli army continued its demolition of residential buildings and structures east of Gaza City. These actions are part of ongoing hostilities that have persisted since October 7, 2023.

The situation in the Gaza Strip has been dire, with reports indicating acts of genocide by the Israeli occupation, resulting in the deaths of approximately 69,000 Palestinians. Over 170,000 individuals have been wounded, the majority being children and women.
