Al-fakhit: Israeli colonists assaulted Palestinian farmers and shepherds in the village of Al-Fakhit in Masafer Yatta, south of Hebron, on Saturday, while Israeli soldiers arrested a young man.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, anti-settlement activist Osama Makhameh reported that armed colonists from the Ma’on and Metzpe Yair colonies, which are established on Palestinian land and property in Masafer Yatta, attacked and assaulted the local shepherds and farmers in Al-Fakhit.
Makhameh further explained that Israeli soldiers, who were present to provide protection for the colonists, arrested Yasser Abu Sabha after he confronted the colonists during the incident.
