Israeli Forces Intensify Checkpoint Restrictions and Conduct Raids on Homes of Prisoners in Ramallah Area

Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces (IOF) raided, at dawn on Monday, a number of homes of prisoners scheduled to be released today as part of the ceasefire agreement, in several towns and villages in the Ramallah and al-Bireh Governorate.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the IOF targeted homes in multiple locations, including Abwein, Mazra' al-Nubani, and Aroura, north of Ramallah; Beit Rima, Kafr Ni'ma, Deir Ibzi', Ein Arik, and Nabi Saleh, northwest of Ramallah; Na'ali, west of Ramallah; Deir Jarir and Silwad, east of Ramallah; and the Umm al-Sharait neighborhood and al-Amari refugee camp in al-Bireh.

Additionally, military measures were intensified at the Ein Siniya and Atara checkpoints, north of Ramallah. Reports indicate that IOF personnel assaulted a citizen at the Ein Siniya checkpoint and stopped dozens of vehicles entering the city.
