Ramallah: Israeli occupation forces detained dozens of citizens on Wednesday and interrogated them on the spot after assaulting them in Al-Arroub camp, Hebron Governorate.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the occupation forces raided Al-Arroub camp at dawn, stormed homes, detained numerous individuals, and assaulted them after searching, handcuffing, and blindfolding them. The forces converted the Al-Arroub Youth Social Center into an interrogation center where the detainees were interrogated on the spot before being released.
During the raid, the forces also fired live ammunition at worshippers who were leaving the dawn prayer. Fortunately, no injuries were reported from these actions.
In response to the incident, Bassam Jabr, Director General of Education in North Hebron, announced that school hours will be postponed until Thursday in the camp's schools, including Al-Arroub Agricultural School and Al-Arroub Sheikhs School.
