Gaza: The World Food Programme (WFP) stated that the Gaza Strip now requires food on a massive scale due to the conditions in the area.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the WFP emphasized the necessity for humanitarian efforts to progress in order to save lives in the Gaza Strip, rather than regress. The organization highlighted the urgent need for an expansion of food assistance to ensure that the population is reassured about not facing starvation.
The WFP also called for safe and unhindered humanitarian access to facilitate the organized distribution of food aid throughout Gaza without delay.
