Gaza: Sixty Palestinians have been killed since dawn today by Israeli army gunfire and bombardment in the Gaza Strip, according to medical sources. The escalation in violence has led to a significant loss of life and heightened tensions in the region.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the fatalities were distributed across several medical facilities in Gaza. Twenty-five bodies were transported to al-Shifa Medical Complex, seven to the Baptist Hospital, three to the Red Crescent Field Hospital in al-Saraya, twenty to al-Awda Hospital, one to Al-Aqsa Hospital, and four to Nasser Hospital.
The medical sources also confirmed that among the deceased, thirteen were aid seekers. Additionally, two deaths, including that of a child, were attributed to starvation, malnutrition, and a lack of treatment. This situation underscores the humanitarian crisis faced by many in the area amidst the ongoing conflict.
