Erdogan Condemns Israel’s Actions After Doha Summit, Pledges Continued Support for Palestine

Doha: Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan has denounced Israel’s strike on a negotiation team in Doha as a cowardly assault that he claims challenges the international system and law. The strike, according to Erdogan, came after Israel carried out attacks across Gaza, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, and Iran.

According to TRTworld.com, Erdogan addressed reporters on Tuesday following his return from the Arab-Islamic emergency summit in Doha. He emphasized that Türkiye stands in solidarity with Qatar and the Palestinian people, extending condolences to the families of those killed and wishing a swift recovery for the injured. Erdogan remarked that Israel’s actions highlight its increasing isolation and that Türkiye’s position is gaining global recognition.

Erdogan also addressed regional tensions, rejecting what he described as false scenarios of redrawing borders under the guise of promised land. He argued that such claims are legally and morally void, furthering only the agenda of Israel’s radical ideology. Erdogan accused Israel’s leadership of turning radical ideology into a fascist network of murder that threatens Muslims, Christians, and Jews alike. He called on Islamic nations to respond with knowledge, cooperation, and unity.

The president expressed concern over the dangers of Zionism, stating that when listening to Jews who oppose Israel’s actions, it becomes clear how dangerous the ideology is. Erdogan associated Zionist Israel with terrorism and fascism. He reaffirmed Ankara’s commitment to being a flag-bearer for the Palestinian cause, with the ultimate goal of ensuring peace, justice, and human dignity across the region.
