Helsinki: Finland announced today that it will join the New York Declaration on the peaceful settlement of the Question of Palestine and the implementation of the two-state solution. Finnish Minister of Foreign Affairs, Elina Valtonen, shared this development in a post on X, noting the nation's commitment to the initiative.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Valtonen emphasized Finland's support for the process, which is spearheaded by France and Saudi Arabia. She described it as the most significant international effort in years aimed at creating conditions conducive to a two-state solution. This move underscores Finland's dedication to contributing to a peaceful resolution in the region.
