Beijing: China has agreed to join the New York Declaration, reflecting its long-standing stance on the Palestinian issue. During a daily news briefing, the Chinese Foreign Ministry's spokesperson, Guo Jianchun, emphasized that the Palestinian question lies at the heart of Middle East issues and highlighted that it is currently in a critical phase.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Guo stated, "We support all efforts that are conducive to the political settlement of the question. We will continue to work with the international community to make unremitting efforts towards the end of the fighting in Gaza, de-escalation of the humanitarian crisis, implementation of the two-State solution, and the ultimate, comprehensive, just and lasting resolution of the Palestinian question."
