Temperature Rises Expected in Palestinian Territories: Meteorological Department Issues Warnings

Ramallah: The Palestinian Meteorological Department predicts relatively hot to hot weather conditions today, with temperatures expected to rise approximately 2°C above the seasonal average. Light to moderate winds will shift from southwesterly to northwesterly, occasionally becoming active, while sea waves are anticipated to remain light to moderate. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, tonight's weather is forecasted to be partly cloudy to clear, with relatively cold conditions in mountainous areas and milder conditions elsewhere. Tomorrow, temperatures are expected to rise further, reaching around 4°C above the seasonal average. Saturday will see a slight drop in temperature, yet conditions will remain about 2°C above the average. By Sunday, partly cloudy to clear skies are predicted, with temperatures aligning closer to the annual average. The Meteorological Department has issued warnings advising the public to avoid extended exposure to direct sunlight, particularly between 11 a.m. and 4 p.m. Additionally, the department has cautioned against lighting fires in areas containing dry grass to prevent potential hazards.
