Ramallah: President Mahmoud Abbas on Wednesday evening chaired a meeting of high-ranking security commanders at the presidential headquarters in Ramallah. The meeting focused on the ongoing efforts of security services to uphold the rule of law and ensure the safety of Palestinian citizens through the "Homeland Protection" campaign.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the meeting included discussions on the harsh conditions faced by the Palestinian people and the importance of enforcing the rule of law. President Abbas commended the security services for their dedication and emphasized the need for full coordination among the security services to provide professional policing and security services that citizens expect.
The meeting was attended by several notable figures, including Hussein al-Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine and PLO Executive Committee Vice Chairman; Lieutenant General Hajj Ismail Jaber, Deputy Commander-in-Chief of the Palestinian Security Forces; Major General Ziad Hab al-Rih, Minister of Interior; Major General Munir al-Zoubi, Presidential Advisor for Military Affairs; and Wael Lafi, Presidential Advisor for Legal Affairs.
