Doha: Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani, Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs of Qatar, received Mr. Hussein Al Sheikh, Vice President of the State of Palestine, during his visit to Qatar. The meeting focused on reviewing the cooperation relations between the two countries and exploring ways to enhance them further. Additionally, discussions covered the latest developments in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, along with other topics of mutual interest. According to Union of OIC News Agencies, during the meeting, Sheikh Mohammed reaffirmed Qatar's firm and unwavering support for the Palestinian cause and the resilience of the Palestinian people. This support is rooted in international legitimacy resolutions and the two-state solution, which advocates for the establishment of an independent Palestinian state based on the 1967 borders, with East Jerusalem as its capital.
