Arab League Supports Egypt and Jordan’s Rejection of Palestinian Relocation Proposals

Rome: The Secretary-General of the Arab League, Ahmed Aboul Gheit, declared that the League firmly supports the positions of Egypt and Jordan, which oppose proposals concerning the displacement of Palestinians. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Aboul Gheit made this statement during the Italian-Arab Business Forum in Rome. He stressed that the Arab stance remains firm against any plans to displace the Palestinian people from their lands, whether in Gaza or the West Bank. He highlighted that the Arab League's alignment with Egypt and Jordan is clear, opposing any proposals, be they old or new, aimed at forcibly relocating the indigenous population from their territories. The Secretary-General expressed confidence that the determination of Egypt and Jordan, coupled with the resilience of the Palestinian people and the comprehensive Arab support against displacement, will effectively counter any attempts to undermine the Palestinian cause.
