Gaza: US Senator Bernie Sanders said that the government of Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu “is committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing in the Gaza Strip.” Sanders added, in a post on his account on X that, “former Defense Minister Moshe Ya’alon was right when he said that Israel is committing war crimes in Gaza, and I hope that more military leaders will join him.”
According to Palestine News and Information Agency – WAFA, Sanders stressed that, “Netanyahu’s government is committing war crimes and ethnic cleansing in the Strip.” Describing the war crimes committed by Israel in Gaza, he said that, “terrorism cannot be fought by starving Palestinians and killing tens of thousands of civilians.”
Ya’alon had confirmed twice that soldiers were committing ethnic cleansing crimes in the northern Gaza Strip.
