NABLUS: Two Palestinian minors sustained injuries from Israeli army gunfire Thursday evening in the town of Beit Furik, located east of the occupied West Bank city of Nablus. The incident involved two 15-year-olds who were wounded in the thigh during confrontations with Israeli forces. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Palestinian Red Crescent Society (PRCS) reported that its crews provided first aid treatment to the injured minors. The gunfire erupted amidst frequent raids conducted by Israeli occupation forces in Palestinian areas, often leading to clashes. The Israeli forces routinely carry out raids in homes across the West Bank, claiming to search for "wanted" individuals, which often results in conflicts with the local residents. These operations are undertaken without the need for a search warrant, reflecting the wide-ranging powers held by the military. Under Israeli military law, army commanders possess complete executive, legislative, and judicial authority over appro ximately 3 million Palestinians in the West Bank, leaving the local population with no influence over the exercise of this authority.
