Masafer Yatta: Israeli colonists Monday night uprooted several olive trees belonging to a Palestinian resident in the Masafer Yatta area south of Hebron, according to a local activist. Anti-colonies activist, Osama Makhamra, reported that the colonists from the illegal colony of Susya were responsible for cutting down the olive trees in the area. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the region of Masafer Yatta has been subject to daily attacks by colonists. These assaults include the forced expulsion of farmers from their land, confiscation of their belongings, harassment, and physical assault. The violence against Palestinians and their properties has seen a significant increase since the outbreak of Israeli aggression against the Palestinian people on October 7th, 2023. The indiscriminate violence perpetrated by Israeli colonists against Palestinian civilians and their properties has drawn widespread condemnation. In response to these incidents, several countries have imposed sanctio ns against Israeli colonists accused of committing acts of violence against the Palestinian people in the West Bank.
