Gaza: Nine Palestinians were killed by an Israeli bombing east of Khan Younis on Sunday evening. A number of other citizens were injured in the attack, which occurred in the Sheikh Nasser area, south of the Gaza Strip. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, medical sources reported that the airstrike targeted a group of citizens, resulting in at least nine fatalities and several injuries. Local health authorities have confirmed that the Palestinian death toll from Israeli actions since October 7, 2023, has reached 43,341, with an additional 102,105 individuals injured. The majority of the victims are women and children. Emergency services are reportedly still unable to reach many casualties and bodies trapped under the rubble or along roads, as Israeli forces continue to hinder the movement of ambulance and civil defense teams. Despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice to prevent genocide and ease the humanitarian crisis, the Israeli attacks persist.
