GAZA: At least 20 civilians were killed and dozens of others were wounded on Friday in Israeli shelling that targeted two houses in the city of Beit Lahiya in the besieged northern Gaza Strip. The occupation's ongoing aggression on the Gaza Strip, by land, sea and air since October 7, 2023, has so far resulted in the killing of 42,874 civilians, and the injury of 100,544 others, mostly children and women. Thousands of victims remain missing; either buried under the rubble or scattered on the roads, as rescue teams face tremendous difficulties in reaching them due to the continued Israeli attacks and the massive amount of debris. Israel's genocidal attacks continue unabated despite calls from the United Nations Security Council for an immediate ceasefire and directives from the International Court of Justice urging measures to prevent genocide and alleviate the dire humanitarian situation in Gaza.
