New York - Ma'an - The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) said that 90% of the population of the Gaza Strip have been displaced since the start of the Israeli aggression in October 2023, and many of them are children. UNICEF added in a post on the X platform on Wednesday that the places where people are forced to flee lack basic necessities and safety. In this context, the Commissioner of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), Philippe Lazzarini, revealed in a post on the 'X' platform: In an almost daily incident, at least 8 schools have been subjected to (Israeli) bombing in the past ten days, 6 of which are affiliated with UNRWA.
