Bethlehem Ma'an - The Commission of Prisoners' Affairs and Ex-Prisoners reported that prisoner Ayham Kamamji is being subjected to poor detention conditions in Ashkelon prison. The statement confirmed that the Ashkelon prison administration has been isolating prisoner Ayham Kamamji since May 15, after he was transferred from the "Ramon" prison, where he was imprisoned for an additional 3 months. Prisoner Kamamji, one of the heroes of the Freedom Tunnel operation, told the Commission's lawyer that the isolation conditions in 'Ramon' and Ashkelon are extremely bad, as the prisoner is subjected to continuous inspection of the isolation cells, and the confiscation of his clothes and special blankets.
