82 Palestinians Killed in Gaza Since Dawn, Death Toll Climbs to 52,928

Gaza: The death toll has risen to 82, the majority of them children and women, as a result of the ongoing Israeli occupation forces' bombardment of various areas of the Gaza Strip since dawn on Thursday.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, Israeli fighter jets bombed inhabited homes and tents housing displaced persons in various areas of the Strip, particularly in the city of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. The ongoing shelling resulted in dozens of killings and injuries, amid widespread destruction of infrastructure and civilian properties.

These incidents are part of an ongoing escalation of Israeli actions, which has not spared children and women, amid the severe humanitarian conditions endured by people in the besieged Gaza Strip.

The death toll from the conflict initiated by the Israeli occupation forces on the Gaza Strip has risen to 52,928 Palestinians, with nearly 119,846 reported wounded since October 7, 2023.
