18 Palestinians, Including Seven Children, Killed in Israeli Airstrikes on Gaza Homes and Displacement Tents

Gaza city: At least 18 Palestinians, including seven children, were killed last night in Israeli airstrikes targeting homes and tents sheltering displaced people across Gaza City. According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, three civilians were killed and seven others injured in one of the strikes when Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment on Souq al-Yarmouk Street in the al-Daraj neighborhood. Another attack resulted in the death of three Palestinians and injured several others after Israeli fighter jets struck a tent sheltering displaced families inside the Islamic University in the al-Rimal al-Janoubi neighborhood, west of Gaza City. In Tel al-Hawa, southwest of the city, three people were killed and others injured when a residential apartment was hit. Additionally, two Palestinians were killed and others injured when an Israeli drone targeted a displacement tent near al-Nour Mosque in the al-Rimal neighborhood. In the al-Sabra district, two more were killed and others injured in an airst rike on an apartment in the Skeek building along al-Thalathini Street, south of Gaza City. Furthermore, two Palestinians were killed and several others injured after a drone strike hit a tent for displaced families near al-Azhar University junction, west of the city. Another person was killed and others wounded when Israeli warplanes bombed an apartment in the al-Rimal neighborhood. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 2023 has resulted in at least 64,231 documented Palestinian fatalities, with over 161,583 others injured. Thousands of victims are feared trapped under rubble, inaccessible to emergency and civil defense teams due to Israeli attacks.
