Photojournalist, another die of wounds, raises death toll in Gaza to 10

GAZA, Two Palestinians, including a photojournalist, died early Saturday of their wounds sustained after Israeli soldiers stationed at the Gaza border opened fire at them on Friday, medical sources said.

Photojournalist Yasser Murtaja, 30, died from wounds he received as he was covering the border protests to the east of Khan Younis in the south of the Gaza Strip, while Hamza Abdulal, 20, died of injuries he sustained from Israeli gunfire to the east of al-Bureij in the central Gaza Strip.

This brings up the number of Palestinians killed by Israeli forces in Gaza during Friday’s events to 10, while 1354 were injured, 491 of whom were wounded from live bullets and 33 were reported to be in serious condition.
