JERUSALEM, Sunday, An Israeli court in occupied Jerusalem ordered on Sunday the release on bail of the Palestinian Authority’s Jerusalem Governor, Adnan Gheith, together with nine other members of Fatah faction in the city after a week-long detention.
As a condition for the release, the nine Fatah members shall not enter the West Bank for two weeks.
Gheith was arrested from his home in Silwan neighborhood in occupied Jerusalem on November 25, the third such arrest in about one month. He had been arrested by Israeli forces on October 20th and was released two days later.
He was also summoned many times by Israeli intelligence and security forces who told him he was banned from travelling outside Palestine, and that he was banned from entering the occupied West Bank for six months.
