Israeli army raids Amari refugee camp, injuries reported

RAMALLAH, Israeli army units raided on Wednesday Amari refugee camp in Ramallah and clashed with residents causing injuries, according to the Red Crescent and local sources.

Young residents of the camp confronted the army units, throwing rocks and empty bottles at the.

The soldiers responded by firing live ammunition and rubber-coated metal bullets.

The Red Crescent said three Palestinians were injured in the leg by live bullets and two more injured by rubber bullets. One woman was also injured from beating and another person was hit by shrapnel.
